Last week, the UMS 1st grade classes helped plant potatoes, as a part of their agricultural life cycle unit. When they return to school in the fall as 2nd graders, they will help harvest the potatoes, which will then be donated to the Colchester Food Shelf. Check out some of the pictures from planting day!
